Ten Secondary Education Centers have visited the Museum of Chiclana during the months of february and march as part of the initiative 'Visit your city' and the programme 'Know your Council', an activity encompassed in the Educational Management Programme of the Chiclana City Council that is being developed by workers of the employment plan 'Emple@ Joven'.
In this way, more than 400 students who have come to our facilities have had the opportunity to know the history of our city through guided tours led by the staff of our center.
Besides the museum itself, the route established for secondary students, has led them to tour the Delegaciones de Juventud, Deportes, Igualdad, Medio Ambiente y Educación, apart from Casa Brake, the Escuela Municipal de Arte and the sports complex Santa Ana.
We also have to note that this week the Museo de Chiclana have planned together with the Colegio Carmen Sedofeito an artistic activity in which students will be able to paint the works that currently host our temporary exhibitions rooms under the title of A mirror of a thousand years old.
