The exhibition, which can be visited until March 11 at the Museum, has 500 characters that recreate the reality of the Civil Guard
The municipal delegate of Culture, Susana Rivas, has inaugurated the exhibition 'Civil Guard in Playmobil', in which Enrique Caballero Espinosa pays tribute to his brother Victor Jesús (Tote). Act in which have also been present the captain of the company and the lieutenant of the Civil Guard, Antonio Jimenez and Miguel Angel Rodriguez. An exhibition that can be visited at the Museum of the city until March 11.
It should be noted that not only the profession -deeply vocational in the case of both- united, and unites, the Caballero Espinosa brothers. Also their love of Playmobil. Thus, more than 500 characters recreate the reality of the Civil Guard and will delight young and old.
Susana Rivas stressed that this exhibition "unites his profession and his hobby, which he shared with his brother since he was a child. It is an exhibition that has resumed in 2018 and that has an important work, because it brings together figures that continue to accompany boys and girls and, in this case, figures that remind us of the body of the Civil Guard. In addition, they are recycled figures, which he acquires and from which this exhibition has come out." He has also invited all citizens to come to this exhibition and enjoy it.
Enrique Caballero explained that "this exhibition is made with great affection and is very special to me, because it is a hobby I had with my brother and helps me to remember him. So, everyone who comes here will think a little bit about him. I think it will be a show that children will like very much because it has many details".
In addition, he stressed that "in this exhibition, visitors will find a lot of details, because I am very heavy for these things and no two figures are the same. They are recycled figures and I paint them and transform them into all the units of the Civil Guard. It is a way to get closer to the Civil Guard and lose that 'respect', which is often too much, that people have for the force. We are normal people who are here to help".
