Cultural volunteers

The Museum of Chiclana’s Volunteer Program aims to bring together people interested in the history of the city and everyday life in Chiclana since its origins. This program has been created with the collaboration of the Consejería de Educación y Ciencia de la Junta de Andalucía (Andalucia Regional Education and Science Council) and its goal is to foster participation in the area of art history and museums by society in general and especially among children, youths, seniors and disadvantaged groups.
Volunteers’ only requirement is their commitment to the Museo de Chiclana and the programs in which they participate. Volunteers should sign a collaboration agreement with the Museum, specifying the nature of their voluntary contributions and the number of hours they agree to.
In the case of ongoing collaborations, volunteers will receive:

  • Initial and ongoing training.
  • Invitations to inaugurations of temporary exhibits at the Museum.
  • Access to the Museum's library.
